Sehr geehrte Frau Imhof

Sabrina

Moving pets from one continent to another

Moving pets from one continent to another is a specialist business. Marcel Brozius tells us all about it.

Six lions find refuge in South Africa

ACE Pet Moving was involed in an exceptional animal transport on Thursday, 28th October 2010 - SIX LIONS on their way to South Africa.

A mother with its two young came from a zoo in Slatina in Romania, which had to be closed. Another lion from Romania called Tecuci was confiscated by the local authorities.
Two lions (Simona and Lea) come from Bulgaria, who were also confiscated from private owners.

The trip started on Wednesday evening when the first animals where loaded in Bulgaria. From there the voyage went via Romania, to load the remaining lions, to Switzerland where they boarded onto a direct flight with Swiss from Zurich to Johannesburg.

After the arrival in Johannesburg, the lions where transported to "LIONSROCK" park, where they can life in a protective area of 1200 hectar.

Today Lionsrock counts more than sixty lions, leopards, tigers, caracals and cheetahs. All of these animals were safed from improper captures.
